A PRACTICAL GUIDE TO SPACE, SHADE AND ROAD NOISE

Roadhouse Ranch & Camp has ten dry campsites for tents, vans, trailers and RVs. The right choice depends on your equipment, the room you want around camp, and how sensitive you are to traffic sound. Here is how to narrow it down before you reserve.

START WITH YOUR SETUP

These are dry sites: there are no electric, water or sewer hookups at the campsite. The property has shared drinking water, hot showers, flush toilets and Wi-Fi. In the booking listings, check the stated pad dimensions, maximum vehicle length and slide-out rules for the exact site you want. If you are unsure whether your rig will fit, call us at (541) 224-6566 before booking.

THINK ABOUT SPACE AND SHADE

Our sites are not identical. A compact spot can work well for a tent or campervan, while a larger RV or a family that wants room to sit outside needs more space. Shade also changes through the day. Summer guests have appreciated the trees and gazebo, and one camper recommends bringing an extra shade tarp in hot weather. Look at the photos for your specific site rather than assuming every space has the same shade or privacy.

BE HONEST ABOUT ROAD NOISE

Roadhouse is beside Highway 97. That makes Bend and Central Oregon easy to reach, but traffic can be heard at some campsites, including at night. Guest experiences vary: some describe a peaceful stay, while light sleepers report that the road affected their sleep. If quiet is your top priority, ask us which currently available spots are farther from the highway; a guest found the area nearer the bathhouse better. Earplugs may help, but no campsite here can be promised silent.

PICK THE EXPERIENCE YOU WANT

Guests who like a social camp often enjoy the covered gazebo, shared grill and communal propane fire pit. If you are coming to explore, the property is a convenient base for Bend, Sisters and Smith Rock. After a day out, the private hot showers are a favorite part of the stay. Ghost Ridge Trail and its sunset viewpoint offer a short on-site outing.

READY TO CHOOSE?

Compare the current photos, dimensions and availability in the booking listings, then reserve the spot that matches your setup. If you would like a recommendation for your tent, van or RV, call (541) 224-6566.
